What Menopause Has Taught Me: Turning Symptoms Into Soulful Shifts

I didn’t choose the symptoms—but I did choose what to do with them.

When the hot flashes came, I learned to slow down and breathe.

When the sleepless nights rolled in, I was invited to reflect and be still.

When the mood swings showed up unannounced, I discovered how much I needed grace, not guilt.

When my body began changing in ways I didn’t understand, I started listening to her instead of judging her.

Each symptom of perimenopause and menopause felt like a little knock on the door of my soul. At first, I resisted. I tried to “fix it,” suppress it, or pretend I could keep living the way I always had.

But that didn’t work.

Instead, I began to listen. And that changed everything.

What I Found on the Other Side of the Struggle

Menopause has taught me to:

  • Create space for me — not someday, but now.

  • Work out my mental fitness — just as much as I workout my body.

  • Be flexible with new ideas — because who I am becoming needs room to grow.

  • Live with intention — instead of just going through the motions.

  • Believe in myself — not because everything is perfect, but because I’m worth it.

  • Take before I give — not from selfishness, but from wisdom.

  • Reclaim my living rights — the right to feel, to rest, to express, to shine.

  • Receive the blessings each day has to offer — even when they’re disguised as disruptions.

  • Trust and discern — who’s safe, what’s sacred, and what’s simply not aligned.

  • Love the woman in the mirror — her stretch marks, her strength, her story.

  • And most of all, let go of what I thought I was here to do… and surrender to God’s greater plan.

This wasn’t a quick fix. It was (and is) a journey. But with each wave of change, has created soulful shift, new habits — rituals that support my body, nourish my soul, and empower me to guide other women through the same path.

Now, I get to help my clients transform their own menopause symptoms and struggles into a healthier, more purposeful life — one that reflects who they truly are, not who they’ve been told to be.

Where the Magic Begins

Here’s what I’ve come to deeply believe: Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in connection.

There is a certain energy and frequency that rises when two or more gather with the shared intention of being and feeling better. When menopausal women come together with honesty, courage, and curiosity, we remember who we are. And a soulful shift occurs.

We stop growing weeds and start smelling the flowers in our daily gardens.

So I ask you…

Are you still trying to figure it all out on your own?

Are you following your own plan… or are you ready to lean into something greater, something guided, something divine?

If you’re seeking your tribe — know this: I have multiple. Come sit with us. Cry, laugh, learn, grow. Let’s normalize the conversation, break the silence, and build something beautiful together.

Because you don’t have to walk through this season alone. And because the truth is — we’re always becoming. Let’s become better, together.

Your journey awaits at the other side of a Discovery Call, ready for your soulful transformation? Don't overthink you can start feeling better naked now!
